Long before I made the move to working independently, I sold and marketed HR-related products and services to HR for some of the best known firms in the market.

I’ve established small consultancies, led corporate marketing teams, launched products and built communication strategies.

Whether you have a dedicated in-house marketing team, or ‘marketing’ and its decisions fall to you, at some stage I’ve tackled the challenges you are facing right now.

i’ve been where you’re going

I headed up marketing for PA Consulting Group’s Recruitment Group and was one of the founding directors when Cubiks was launched globally. I moved into product management at SHL before leading corporate marketing across the SHL Group. More recently, I ran the marketing activity at Head Light.

I’ve had to plan and execute great campaigns, learned what engaging thought leadership really means, and have seen what a report or white paper can achieve for your business.

It’s shown me how to turn sparks of ideas into something tangible and how to get the very most from every single investment in B2B marketing spend.

In short, I’ve learned the hard way what works – and what doesn’t – when creating a plan to market products and services to HR leaders.

I’m a marketing strategist and pragmatic implementer

For some clients, I’m their marketing strategist. I cut through the noise to bring focus and clarity. I help them find their brightest and best ideas and turn them into an action plan that delivers.

For others, when they simply need to get things done, I shine a light on the path that needs to be taken, and break down the actions into logical steps.

I am action-oriented, a ceaseless doer and love to see a plan come together.

I’m not one for jargon. I’m straightforward, incredibly organised, know the market well and a realistic planner that plans for the best and prepares for setbacks.

I’ll hit the ground running to help you get your messages in front of your HR buyers - and in the most effective way possible.

I never stop learning

The pace of change in marketing can be dizzying – as can the shift in the challenges faced by your HR clients.

Keeping up to date with my own professional development means that my clients tap into the latest research, technology and thinking when they hire me. I’m:

• A Chartered Marketer (since 2010) and a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM)

• A mentor for other members of the CIM

• A member of the Association for Business Psychology

• A graduate member of The British Psychological Society and member of its Division of Occupational Psychology

I believe we each have a role in helping others achieve their potential.

I work with my clients to grow their businesses. In turn, my clients work to hire, develop, retain, engage, support and reward their clients' employees—helping each of them to realise their potential while feeling valued and supported.

Helping others reach their potential is important to me.

Outside of work, I serve as a trustee for my local Citizens Advice, a mentor for fellow marketers via CIM, and a volunteer business mentor for The Prince’s Trust. 

For every client project I complete, I donate to support the work of The Prince’s Trust.
